Please consider donating as much or as little if you can, or, buy my delivered printing magazines as I produce them, or buying one of my Sponsor packages here. Trying to see if the quality of my content can actually fund my travels at some point... or at least cover my out of pocket expenses. It's true, I'd do this this regardless... but which a little help from my friends, I'll be able to report back a bit longer. :-)
I'm still a little nervous, but that's normal. Usually washes away as I settle into the soothing chant of the wind and road. The new boots I got from Cruiserworks.com (their site is still down for some reason, so I'm guessing they're in the middle of some updates) are still pretty tight across the bridge of my foot. I tried to stretch them over the weekend and have my fingers crossed. They seem perfect in almost every other way. So, I'm going to take a chance they're break in before breaking my feet. And, I'll hold off anymore comment until I've worn them awhile.
I would be lying if I didn't admit to having a little anxiety, but I'm also really excited. And again, I'm going to just be completely open and not push anything. Just drifting and going with the flow. No plan, no rules, no schedule. In the past I've also traveled with no real itinerary, but have sort of mapped the coming days or weeks as I go. This time I'm going to try not to do that as much and really just drift in a more or less West/Northwesterly direction for as long as what little dough I have will carry me.
This is my last "pre-trip" posting. The next one will be a dispatch from the road. Welcome aboard and enjoy the ride! :-)
